What is Osgood-Schlatter Disease?

Picture
Osgood-Schlatter is a disease causing inflammation to the area where the patellar tendon connects to the tibia. As the quadricep muscles pull on the patellar tendon which pulls the tibial tubercle and this repeated pulling action can cause inflammation of the growth plate.
